Final Devlog: Stackdoku v0.4.0

Oh hey, look at that shiny new "4" in the version number!

  • Decided that I wanted to finish up my to-do list of must-have features and code and enable the "Difficult" game mode and add some visual tweaks before calling it a wrap on active work on the game. Felt wrong to leave that little tease of a menu option and then walk away from active development.  With this, I also added background color changes for each mode (green for easy and purple for difficult).
  • I also found a stupid bug where you could still click game spaces after a win (or lose) state before starting a new game or exiting to the main menu, so squashed that before committing to the final build.
  • Lastly, I decided to leave a Mac OS build here as well. It's a pain to install because of Gatekeeper and the frustratingly high cost of entry to build games for Mac systems, but if folks wanna play and put in the time to make it possible, who am I to stop them? :)

The game is now effectively in as complete a state as I plan on making it, and I'm hoping to start work on another game in the next week or two.  If you like the game, leave a comment or a review -- and if you played on Android, please consider dropping a review/rating on the Play Store as well! Hoping any feedback (positive or otherwise) will help folks who have a passing interest in the game to give it a try.

As always, thanks so much for playing! ✌️
