Stackdoku v0.3.0 (Feature Update)
Quick update since it's been a minute -- the latest version of Stackdoku (v0.3) has a few more bells and whistles added in, specifically:
- Added sound effects for button clicks and inputs
- Added background music that plays during the active game state (not in the main menu area)
- Added and enabled toggling for 'Easy' mode, which uses color coding for right/wrong inputs and restricts re-using valid inputs in the same row, column, or block (just like you'd do in regular Sudoku)
In terms of 'what's next?', I'm planning on adding a 'Difficult' mode in the future and making a few cosmetic updates. I'd like to enable some sort of sharing functionality, though there's not a whole lot to share (just time and moves data), so I'm not sure if that's gonna be something I put a ton of time and energy into.
That will all drop in a v0.4 update whenever the work is complete, and that'll likely be the final major update unless I get some major feedback or a stroke of genius for how to make the game better. Otherwise, I plan to move on to something new and just work on bug fixes if they pop up.
Thanks for playing ✌️
